Aloha and Mahalo Friends, Divers and Visitors

My name is Damion McGinley, I am the Lead PADI Instructor of Kauai Aquatics Scuba.  My family owns Kauai Aquatics Scuba.  I have been living on the Island of Kauai for the past nine years.  I love the Island of Kauai with all the marvels it has to offer above sea level and below sea level.  I have been a PADI Instructor for over a decade and scuba is and always will be my story.  I am passionate about diving and love what I do so if you have a dream to create your own scuba story, I'll teach you the skills, abilities and tricks that will enable you to step into my office - either from the South Shore, East Shore or the North Shore of Kauai.  I look forward to giving you the thrill of experiencing Kauai's Other World!

About Damion

As you can see, Damion is always willing to share some air!  Damion came to the Island from Wild Wonderful West Virginia where he was raised.  In 1995 on a family vacation, Damion found his calling on a first time dive in the Caribbean where he became immediately addicted to diving.  The thrill he found underwater was undeniable and so began Damion's scuba story.  Damion followed his heart and became a PADI Scuba Instructor at the Florida Dive Institute (A big hello to Keith!).  Through a series of no less than fortuitous events Damion found his home on the Island of Kauai.  Damion has been instructing on the island for over 8 years and lives with the true aloha spirit and after meeting him you'll know why people come back to dive with him year after year.  Damion is a dedicated scuba professional with a heart of gold and a sense of humor to boot.  He loves what he does and it shows in his constant dedication to giving others their very own scuba story.

Special Note: Even being born and raised on the east coast of the United States, Damion was named after Father Damion of the Molakai Island of the State of Hawaii.
