Underwater Naturalist

Are you fascinated with aquatic life? Always curious what that fish is and why it always dances under a coral head whenever you get close? If you're awed with life below sea level, the PADI Underwater Naturalist course is especially for you.

In your quest to an Underwater Naturalist, you will learn about the different major aquatic life groupings and how they interact so that you understand what you are observing in ‘Kauai's Other World' adventure.  With the PADI Underwater Naturalist course under your weight belt, you see the oceanic world from an entirely new perspective. You will not see just "fish", but individual species with very unique strategies for surviving in a complex, interactive ecosystem.

To participate you must be an Open Water or Junior Open Water diver (certification cards need to be presented).  Kauai Aquatics Scuba will give an overview of aquatic life groupings and interrelation, the role of aquatic plants, and predator prey relationships.
